About the Masters in HR

A good human resources manager must have a strong business sense and possess entrepreneurial qualities, one of the key elements developed in our training.

In addition to meeting a strict set of competencies, we include a strong human dimension to the curriculum, notably through a course in managerial philosophy that will help you become an even more responsible manager. This program also emphasizes the link between HR and business strategy and its evolutionary aspect, focusing on the new digital dimension of HR.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree in humanities, sciences, human resources, organisational behaviour, business, administration, management, communication, journalism, psychology, arts or a related field.

Minimum 180 ECTS at MQF Level 6 previously acquired at a Higher Education institution.

Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

A minimum of one year of work experience in a business environment will be considered as an asset.

a) Apply principles and practices of human resources management, including employee recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management and compensation and benefits.

b) Analyse the behaviour of individuals and groups within organisations, specifically relating to their motivation, team dynamics and communication.

c) Apply knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment of labour relations including collective bargaining, union-management relations, and labour laws.

d) Champion the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and create an inclusive environment for all employees.

e) Apply strategies for identifying, developing and retaining top talent in an organisations.

f) Address the challenges and opportunities of managing human resources in an international context, including cross-cultural management, expatriate management and global staffing.

g) Champion the importance of ethical behaviour and professionalism in human resource management.

h) Conduct research on human resource management related topics.

i) Run and manage payroll.
