About the Award

The “Introduction to Formal Logic” module offers students a foundational understanding of formal logic, focusing on principles of deductive reasoning, symbolic logic, and logical argumentation. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and logical reasoning tasks, students will develop critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and construct valid arguments using formal logical systems.

Entry requirements

Proficiency in English language skills- IELTS level/grade 6, B2 level of English or the student’s country equivalent, as the course will involve reading technical materials and communicating concepts effectively.
Post secondary Education (Pure Maths and/Or Computing A level) (MATSEC) or equivalent OR
A degree at level 6 (MQF/EQF) or equivalent in another subject together with a Post secondary Education (Pure Maths and/Or Computing A level) (MATSEC)
OR
10 years of work experience in an IT related job paired with a strong interest in the field, together with a minimum level 4 qualification
